Hanalei Getaway is a centrally located 3BR/2BA house in Hanalei, on the North Shore of Kaua’i. This spacious home averages $400-$500 per night and can accommodate up to ten people.
Why stay at Hanalei Getaway? This recently updated vacation rental perfectly captures the essence of North Shore life. If you’re looking to slow yourself down, then this is where you’ll want to stay. You’ll adventure or beach it in the mornings then come home to a place where every room is an open invitation to lounge around and/or take a siesta. From swinging seating to a wide variety of sleeping arrangements, I can confidently say that family nap time was a breeze here.
What is the parking situation like? The house has its own private driveway.
What is the indoor layout like? There are two main entrances to the house, the front door upstairs and the french doors downstairs. When entering the latter you see a large open living room complete with two giant daybeds, a swinging bench, and a kitchenette. Attached to this space is a half bathroom plus a separate bedroom with a king bed and its very own half bathroom. If you enter via the front door upstairs you walk into an wide open floor plan that includes the kitchen, dining room, and living room. Right off the kitchen is a cozy bedroom with a queen bed and epic waterfall views. Alternatively, you can turn down the hallway from the living room to find a full bathroom (shower only) plus a spacious final bedroom boasting a king bed and a swinging chair.
What is the outdoor space like? There’s a grassy yard out front shaded by a gigantic avocado tree and surrounded by a super fun surfboard fence. After a day at the beach the fully enclosed outdoor shower is a nice option to cool off in. Lastly, another bonus would be the two sitting porches upstairs where you can admire the mountain views with your favorite drink in hand.
Tell me about the amenities. Standard amenities include: full kitchen stocked with the basics, dishwasher, BBQ, ceiling fans, washer/dryer, Roku tv, wifi, beach supplies (wagon, towels, chairs, boogie boards, shade).
What’s within a 10-minute walk? Hanalei town! Honestly, it was amazing to be a quick wagon ride away from groceries and eateries. We had good fun making our way into town several times a day, soaking up the seriously picturesque scenery.
What’s within a 10-minute drive? The Hanalei Pier, Okolehao Trail, and Lumahai Beach.
Insider advice: This home is perfectly situated for all of your North Shore adventures. Princeville along with Waves Yoga and Anini Beach are less than 15 minutes South of you while Ha’ena with Tunnels Beach and the Kalalau Trail are around 15 minutes to the North.
